Adoptions are created and managed via the Adoptions Tab in the Shelter Management Tab and via Animal RecordsApp.

Create a New Adoption record

1. From the Shelter Operations App, select the Adoption tab and click New

   1. Fill in the adoption form with all relevant details.

   2. You can select the Adopted Animal at the bottom of the form.

   3. Click Save.

2. You will be redirected to the newly created Adoption record

Manage the Adoption Record

1. Change the Adoption Stage

   1. Click the dropdown box of Adoption Stage under the details tab and click Save or

   2. Select a new stage from the path across the top of the Adoption Record and then click Mark As Current Adoption Stage.

      

2. Once you make a change to the Adoption Stage on the Adoption Record, the updates will be visible on the Animal Record. You can see further details by clicking the Adoption Tab.
