When a Service Resource has completed a job they use the Check Out action on a Service Appointment (available via the Service Appointment Management action), the details in the screenshot below are captured on a Service Appointment record.

From the Work Order record in the FSL Mobile App, go to Actions and select Service Appointment Management.

To check in to the appointment, select Check Out From Appointment.

This action will update the Service Appointment record in the background.

In this example the Service Resource (Egor Burya):

  • Check Out is clicked from the FSL mobile app at 8:10AM.

  • The Service Resource last known geolocation has been copied from Service Resource record to Check Out Location field on the Service Appointment. 

  • Based on the last Check Out Location Date field  we can see this geolocation has been updated 8 minute before Check Out is clicked. 

  • The Actual End date/time field has been updated automatically.

  • The Actual Duration (Minutes) field is calculated automatically based on Actual Start and Actual End datetime fields. So you can see that Actual Duration was 79 minutes instead of planned 60.
