Animal’s are added to locations (units) via the Movements section of the Animal Record. You can get a view of the Location Records via the Locations Tab in the Shelter Operations Tab.
Location Records work in a hierarchy:
The top of the hierarchy is the Site (or Shelter) records.
The next level down is the Block (or Row) records.
The bottom level is the Unit records, where animals are allocated via Movement Records.
Create a New Adoption record
From the Shelter Operations App, select the Adoption tab and click New
Fill in the adoption form with all relevant details.
You can select the Adopted Animal at the bottom of the form.
You will be redirected to the newly created Adoption record
Manage the Adoption Record
Change the Adoption Stage
Click the dropdown box of Adoption Stage under the details tab or
Select a new stage from the path across the top of the Adoption Record.
2. Once you make a change to the Adoption Stage on the Adoption Record, the updates will be visible on the Animal Record.
Generate an Adoption Receipt
To generate an Adoption Receipt go to the Adoption Record and click Generate Adoption Receipt from the quick actions in the top right-hand corner. The receipt will be generated in a PDF format and be populated with the details of the owner details, adoption agreement, animal details and other important information.
