Records hold the inputted data across the supported data tables - Animals, Contacts, Assessments, Referrals, Locations, etc.

Most records will have a similar look and feel, with some common traits, regardless of the type of data that is being captured.

From a record you can also see related records, for example, an Animal Record can have many related Assessments or Notes.

Accessing a record via the desktop login:

  • Go to the Animals Tab, select a suitable list view and click on the Animal Reference link to access the animal record.

  • An Animal Record is more detailed than most other system records and many of the areas will be covered through this guide, the common areas that are available on most system records are details below.

    • Highlights Panel - across the top of the record and contains a snapshot of data that helps to easily identify the record.

    • Quick Actions - appear in the top right of the record and allow you to initiate common actions used to manage the record.

    • Details - contains the standard data that is available on the record.

    • Related Lists - are lists of records that are related to the record you are viewing, for Animals this is - Assessments, Animal Actions, Client Notes, Adoptions, Movements, etc.

Accessing a record via the mobile login:

From the mobile app you can access records by clicking into a list and selecting the record. You will also find common actions that you can see on the desktop app, like - New, Filter and Sort.

When you access a record on the mobile app, the Quick Actions are available at the top of the interface. Click on More to see a full list of available actions.
