The Animal Welfare Wizard is utilised as an efficient method for capturing information from callers about Animal welfare issues like cruelty and rescue whilst on the phone with an informant.
The Animal Welfare Wizard can be accessed via the tab under the Inspectorate App. The wizard has 3 tabs to step through:
General Information, Location & Contacts

Job Information

When entering an address the wizard will look for other
Jobsthat have been previously been created at the same address and show relatedContactswho have been recorded at theLocationwith any relevantViolence Flags.The
Locations Nearbycomponent will retrieve anyLocationsthat are within the specifiedDistancewhereJobshave been created.
Entering a
Job Contactwill apply matching rules to identify if theContactalready exists in your database.A Person of Interest (POI) naming convention is applied when selecting
Contact Type = Person of Interestin case the POI is not known.The Add Violence option appears when the
Contacthas been added and allows the user to specify any reported cautions to be aware of when completing theJob.
Animal Reports
Animal Reports allow the user to capture a dataset which describes the nature of the animal welfare issue to help provide relevant information to inspectors and capture key metrics about incoming calls.
Many
Animal Reportscan be captured in case there are many types ofAnimalsinvolved in the report.
Job Information
The Job Information summarises the Job that will be created and includes Job Codes which are automated through the Animal Reports.
On submission a
Jobis created and assignment flows to inspectors will be triggered.The
Jobis assigned to anAreabased on the address that has been specified on theJob.
