Chatter email notifications can be managed by a user from the Settings section of their login.
Go to Settings in the top right of the interface.
Go to
Chatter>Email Notifications
It’s not recommended that you turn off all emails because it is useful to receive a notification when someone mentions you in a post, but you can manage individual settings.
