This article discusses how to intake Lost Animals and Found Animals, and where to find Lost & Found Reports and how to drill down further into the reports to identify specific date ranges that an Animal was lost or found.

This article is specific to the RSPCA ACT instance.

Lost & Found Animal Intakes

Lost & Found Animal Intakes are processed via the Start Referral option on the Referrals tab.

Lost Animals:

  • Animal Source = Lost

  • Set the Reported Lost Date

Found Animals:

  • Animal Source = Found

  • Set the Reported Found Date

Lost & Found Reports

Lost Animals and Found Animals are reports available in AnimalOS, and can be found under the Lost & Found tab in the Animal Attendant Home Page.

  • Filter options are available to further refine your search for an Animal.

  • You can also click the View Report link to access to underlying report which will allow you to apply further filters.

Clicking View Report will take you to the underlying report where you can click Edit to apply additional columns and filters to the report.

To specify a date range for Reported Lost Date or Reported Found Date, use this date as the filter criteria and use the Less Than and Greater Than operators when filtering to create a date range.

Using less or equal and greater or equal will include the date that you have specified in the criteria.
