'Unit' Location record denotes the specific Animal enclosure in which an Animal housed and is a sub location of a Block.
The Unit record has a Movement component, showing the history of Animals which have taken up residency at the specific Unit (Start Date Time | End Date Time) and also shows the current Animal via the Current checkbox.
Information provided on the ‘Block’ Record includes Location Name, Parent Block, Block Capacity, Availability and Adjusted Capacity. As Animals are moved to a ‘Unit’ sub location, Availability and Adjusted Capacity fields will update to reflect the overall Block occupancy.
A Unit is a sub location of Block and is at the bottom of the Locations hierarchy. To find the Animal's location, a User can look up 'Kennel Row' and then check the individual cage (Unit) details.
