This guide will walk through the steps to create a One-Off Donation. One-Off Donations are used when a Contact wants to make a single donation.
What’s on this page
Finding the Donate button
Creating a donation is available through the Contacts tab and is located on the top-right corner of the screen.
Select a Donor
First, select if you would like to process the donation as an Individual or as a Business.
Note: When selecting a Business, you have the option of donating from your Household or an Organisation.
Entering the Donation Information
Enter the amount given under Donation Information and the date in which the payment will be processed. Next, select which Campaign the donation is intended for.
Note: To ensure that the Donor can not change the Campaign they are donating to on the Donation Form, select the checkbox under Campaign. Leaving this unchecked will give the Donor the option to donate to any Campaign that is associated with the selected Donation Form.
Choose whether the donor would like to process the Credit Card payment via a Secure Payment Link or by Telephone.
Note: When selecting a Secure Payment Link, a custom donation form is required to be sent to the donor.
