Recurring Donations with Ezidebit

This guide will walk through the steps to process, pause and close recurring donations with Ezidebit. Ezidebit is a Direct Debit recurring donation payment gateway that is used by Vertic.

Processing recurring donations with Ezidebit
To create a recurring donation with Ezidebit, select Ezidebit as the Payment Method for the Recurring Donation.
Ensure that the Day of Month value is entered (the day of month that the payment will be processed) under Recurring Donation Set Up, otherwise the recurring donation will not be able to process.
Enter the banking details of the donor under Account Information.
Pausing recurring donations
To pause the recurring donation with Ezidebit, change the Status to ‘Paused’.
This will pause the donation until the Status is changed back to ‘Active’.
Closing recurring donations
To close the recurring donation with Ezidebit, change the Status to ‘Closed’.
Post-refreshed Sandbox
Please ensure that the following steps are taken when refreshing a sandbox from Production that is connected to a live Ezidebit instance:
Go to Setup → Custom Settings → Settings → Manage
Click Edit against the following settings and update to the
EZIDEBIT_PROCESSING_DISABLED= truePAYMENT_GATEWAY_INSTANCE= Sandbox
