The Partner Portal is designed to support partner locations to manage Animals and Adoptions by providing a secure login experience to access Animals that have been moved into the care of the offsite Location. The portal aims to provide a similar experience to the Animal Attendant experience in AnimalOS but with greater security around data and reduced access to features.

Partner Profile

Partner Portal users are setup as Digital Experience users via their Contact record.

  • When a Contact is not enabled, you will see the option to Enable Customer User.

  • If they are enabled then you have the option to Log in to Experience as User.

Enable Customer User will create a Portal User related to the Contact which enables login to the Partner Portal.

  • The Partner Portal Volunteer User Plus Profile is assigned to provide the necessary permissions to the user.

Offsite Movements

From an Animal record in AnimalOS an Animal can be moved to an Offsite Location which will share the Animal with portal users who have been assigned to that Location.

Partner Location Assignment

Partner users are assigned to a specific offsite Location where Animals are shared via Offsite Movements and are then accessible via the Partner Portal.

Partner Portal Login - Home

The Home tab in the Partner Portal provides the portal user with an overview of current Animals that are currently in care at the Partner Location.

The Animals tab in the Partner Portal Login provides a list of Animals that have been shared to users at the Partner Location.

Partner Portal Login - Animal Detail

Accessing an Animal record in the portal will provide a view of the Animal with relevant details.

  • Field access is based on Field Level Security assigned to the Partner Profile.

  • Animal Notes can be viewed and captured via the Notes tab.

  • Files can be viewed and captured via the Files tab.

  • Animal Actions are generated based on the Animals care plans.

The Animal detail also provides access to Animal Indemnity Waivers and Animal Referrals which are needed to facilitate adoptions.

Animal Adoptions

From an Animal record a Partner Portal User can begin an adoption using the Start Adoption button, this will create a Referral record with Record Type = Adoption.

The Adoption Referral can then be accessed via the Animal record or the Referrals tab.

From the Referral detail page, a portal user can complete details about the Animal Adoption and generate an Adoption Agreement.

A portal user can generate an Adoption Agreement for digital sign off by clicking the Adoption Agreement button.
