Claim Management
Claiming within Maica allows for the automated process of submitting Payment Requests
to the NDIS digital systems and capture responses, such as approved or rejected payments. The behaviour of this process can be configured to include:
Wait Times which allows for Participants to object to a particular
Payment Request
and build specific business processes around this.Sync Times which sets the intervals at which Maica will attempt to retrieve
Payment Request
status information from the NDIS
To set the Wait Time, follow the below steps:
Navigate the
Maica Settings
Click on the
Claim Management
TabEnter the
Hours
you would like to allow the system to wait until a particular claim is submitted
To set the Sync Time, follow the below steps:
Navigate the
Maica Settings
Click on the
Claim Management
TabEnter the interval
Hours
you would like to use to check forPayment Request
status updates
Please be mindful of the volume of projected Payment Requests
and allow Maica sufficient time to process these. We don’t recommend any setting below 2 hours and suggest about 1 hour for every 500 Payment Requests
