Animal Tag Numbers

Animal Tag Numbers

Each Animal is given a Tag Number when they arrive at an RSPCA Shelter. Listed below are actions that will cause the Tag Number to change.

Instructions

A Referral Record is created when an Animal first comes into RSPCA’s care and from a Referral Record an Animal Intake Animal Record is created to represent every incoming Animal - from the Animal Intake Record a Tag Number is generated.

Click into the Intake Animal Record to see the Tag Number that has been generated.

There is a flow that copies the Tag Number to the Animal Record.

In the scenario where an Animal comes into RSPCA care on more than one occasion, then a new Referral and Intake Animal Record will be created which will generate a new Tag Number and following this process will update the Tag Number on the Animal Record.
