Crisis Support - Calendar

The Job Activities calendar provides a visual schedule of Job Activities across your organisation, making it easier to manage field visits, home support, and other time-based activities. This article outlines how to configure a custom calendar for Crisis Support Job Activities in AnimalOS.


How to Configure the Job Activities Calendar

  1. Open the Calendar Tab

    • Navigate to the Calendar tab from the top navigation bar in the Crisis Support app.

  1. Click "New Calendar"

    • On the right panel under My Calendars, click the gear icon ⚙️ and then select New Calendar.

  1. Step 1: Select the Object

    • In the first screen of the calendar creation wizard, set the Object to Job Activity.

    • Click Next to proceed.

  1. Step 2: Set Calendar Fields

    • Calendar Name: Enter a name, e.g. Crisis Support Job Activities.

    • Field for Start: Select Start Date/Time.

    • Field for End: Select End Date/Time.

    • Apply a Filter: Choose Crisis Support Job Activities to filter only relevant records.

    • Field Name to Display: Set to Subject.

  1. Click Save

    • Your custom calendar will now appear in the My Calendars section.

    • Job Activities matching your filter (e.g. Crisis Support) will now display on the calendar.

Apply a Filter refers to the List Views which can be created via the Job Activities tab, this feature can be used to create many calendars with different colours if the team would like to visualise based on Service.


Using the Calendar

  • The calendar shows start and end times of scheduled Job Activities.

  • Activities are colour-coded by category (e.g. Job Activities).

  • Clicking on an activity will open the related Job Activity record for more detail.


This setup helps teams stay organised and ensures Crisis Support services are delivered efficiently across all locations.
