A scheduling policy can be selected at the top of the left side panel to determine the behaviour when scheduling appointments. A scheduling policy is configured in the background to respect specific rules like - Skills, Service Territory boundaries, Start and End Dates, Resource Preferences.
Key scheduling policies used for Animalis:
Customer First Simple - this is the standard scheduling policy that will be used by the RSPCA metro team. It ignores Service Territories and schedules the most suitable Service Resource based on Location and Skills.
Customer First - This policy respects service territory boundaries and will be used by regional service territories.
Emergency - This policy is used in order to schedule emergencies from the emergency action.
