Overview
The Animal Intake Management dashboard provides Shelter Managers with a real-time overview of animal intake trends. The data is sourced from the Referral object, including the following record types:
Stray
Surrender
Inbound Animal
Emergency Boarding
Inspectorate Animal
This dashboard enables managers to monitor intakes by different record types, understand intake trends over time, and track return rates.

These summary tiles provide an at-a-glance view of animal intake volumes.
Animal Intake Last FY: Displays the total number of animals taken into care in the previous financial year.
Animal Intake This FY: Shows the intake count for the current financial year, helping track progress.
Animal Intake Last Month: Tracks intakes from the most recent full month.
Animal Intake This Month: Provides real-time intake numbers for the current month.
