Out Stage: Deceased

When an Animal is set to Deceased, there is a process to follow to ensure the data is entered correctly. The following fields need to be added:

Set the Deceased Date
Add a Deceased Reason
Update the Stage
Update the Animal Status

The Deceased Information can be updated in the Tracking section of the Animal Record under the Details Tab.

When the Deceased Date and Deceased Reason fields have been updated, you can then go and update the Stage and Animal Status fields to reflect the deceased status.

When Deceased Date and Deceased Reason fields have not been updated, a validation error will appear when the Stage and Animal Status values are updated to reflect a deceased status.
