Animal Location

Animal’s are added to locations (units) via the Movements section of the Animal Record. You can get a view of the Location Records via the Locations Tab in the Shelter Operations App.

Access the Block/Row Location Record where you are working via the desktop login:

1. Go to the Locations Tab in the Shelter Operations App, select the Animalis Testing Blocks list view and use the Pin Icon to pin this as your default view.

2. Click into a Row/Block Record by clicking the Location Reference. From the Row/Block Record you can see:

   1. A Row/Block Location Record has an attribute Record Type = Block, which means the record has fields that are relevant to a row/block.

   2. Current availability of the row/block.

   3. All related units with the current animals in each unit.

   4. Notes that have been recorded that are specific to the row/block.

3. Click into a Unit Location Record and you’ll see:

   1. Details about the Unit.

   2. The current animal housed in the unit.

   3. The Movements history associated with the unit.

       

Access the Block/Row Location Record where you are working via the mobile login:

1. Each Block/Row and Unit record has a QR Code associated with the record, which can be printed and mounted on a unit or a suitable location on the row.

    

2. From the mobile app you can go into All items to access a QR Code Scanner. Here you can select to scan a QR code which will open the Location Record that you have scanned.
