Out Stage: Euthanasia

When an Animal is euthanised, there’s a process to follow when updating the Animal Record.

Set Deceased Date
Add Euthanasia Reason
Update the Stage
Update the Animal Status

The Deceased Date and Euthanasia Reason fields can be updated in the Deceased Information in the Tracking section under the Details Tab.

When a Euthanasia Reason has been added, then the Animal Record Stage and Animal Status can be updated.

If a Euthanasia Reason is not added and you try to update the Stage and Status to reflect that the Animal has been euthanised, an error message will appear on the screen.
