Foster Updates

Adoptions are created and managed via the Adoptions Tab in the Shelter Management App.

Moving an Animal from In Shelter to In Foster Care

1. From the Shelter Operations App, select the Animals tab or use the Salesforce global search bar to search for the Animal you are looking for.

   1. You can search for an Animal by its Microchip Number or Tag Number using the global search bar.

   2. Select the Animal you are creating the movement for.

2. From the Animal record, click the Movements Tab

   Open

   

    

3. Create the Animal Movement by following the steps below

   1. Select Move to a Foster from the dropdown list and click Next.

   2. Select the Foster location and click Next.

   3. Click Finish.

       

4. Once an Animal has been moved to Foster Care, the Stage and Status will be updated on the Animal Record:
