Shift Management
Shift Management in Field Service provide the capability to manage resources based on specific Shift Templates
and Shift Patterns
to help streamline the scheduling process at set Locations
.

The Maica Field Service Package extends the standard features by connecting a Shift
to a Service Appointment
to facilitate the client-facing delivery of the Shift
.
When a Shift
Status
is updated to Confirmed
, this will trigger a related Service Appointment
to be created and assigned to the specified Service Resource
.
The Shift Management interface has been built to manage Shift
Status
and Service Resource
assignment in bulk.
Use the Add Filters
action at the top of the interface to open a window which allows you to specify and apply filters.
Use the Tick and Cross icons to select/unselect rows to be updated. Use the Check All
action to select all rows in view.
Use the bulk update fields at the top of the columns to Apply
an update to all selected rows.
Bulk updating the Status
in this view to Confirmed
, will trigger the creation of Service Appointments
with related Assigned Resource
records based on the specified Service Resource
.
