Volunteer Portal

The Volunteer Portal provides organisation volunteers with secure access to AnimalOS Locations and Animals which have been shared to the volunteer. This provides a volunteer with an experience similar to an Animal Attendant so they can help to complete open Animal Actions that are scheduled for the day.
The Volunteer Portal requires Salesforce Community licenses which needs to be discussed with the AnimalOS team.
Volunteer Profile
Partner Portal users are setup as Digital Experience users via their Contact record.
When a Contact is not enabled, you will see the option to
Enable Customer User.If they are enabled then you have the option to
Log in to Experience as User.
Volunteer Contact in AnimalOS.Enable Customer User will create a Portal User related to the Contact which enables login to the Volunteer Portal.
The
Volunteer Portal Plus Profileis assigned to provide the necessary permissions to the user.
Partner Portal Volunteer User Plus Profile is assigned to Partner Portal users in AnimalOS.Volunteer Contacts
A Contact can be assigned to a Unit or a Block by assigning the Location via Location Volunteers on the Contact record.
Assigning a
Unitwill provide the volunteer with access toAnimal Actionsassociated with a specificUnit.Assigning a
Blockwill provide the volunteer with access toAnimal Actionsassociated with all theUnitsin a specificBlock.
Volunteer Portal Login - Home
Upon logging in a volunteer will see the Home tab with a summary of Animal Actions which are scheduled based on the Animals and Blocks they have been assigned to.
Volunteer Portal Login - Animals
The Animals tab provides a volunteer with a list of Animals that have been shared with them to help assist with completing their Animal Actions.
Volunteer Portal Login - Animal Detail
The Animal Detail page provides volunteers with access to Animal Information.
Field access is based on Field Level Security assigned to the Volunteer Profile.
Animal Notescan be viewed and captured via the Notes tab.Filescan be viewed and captured via the Files tab.Animal Actionsare generated based on theAnimalscare plans.
A Volunteer can complete a Weigh In via the Animal record.
Volunteer Portal Login - Location
A Volunteer can view Location records that have been shared and use the Manage Block Actions feature help complete Animal Actions.
