Animal Adoptions are supported via the Referrals feature in AnimalOS, for this scenario we can create a Referral with Record Type = Adoption which will support the data flow required to support an Animal exiting the organisation and into the care of an adopter.
There are two key components to an Adoption data flow.
Start Adoption - this is a quick action available on the
Animalrecord when theAnimalis available for adoption, it triggers the data flow to create aReferralwhich initiates the adoption from a data perspective. Learn more about the starting an adoption in this article.
Adoption Agreement - this is a digital agreement built into the AnimalOS solution which supports e-signatures and provides adopters with a formal document to sign off when adopting an
