This article discusses the clinical functions available in AnimalOS.
AnimalOS does not aim to be a fully functional veterinary system but does have some features which all users to carry out some clinical functions.
The AnimalOS features detailed below are can be leveraged to help manage clinical data processes in the solution.
Animal Health Tab
The Health tab on an Animal record contains fields and related records associated with the health of an animal.
Key fields in the Health tab are included in the table below.

Animal Notes - Vet
Animal Notes can be recorded with a Veterinary context which allows them to be easily filtered and viewed for relevant medical history.

Animal Actions - Treatments
Treatment Plans can be generated and managed for Animals via the Manage Animal Plans action on the Animal record, this supports ongoing treatments and treatments with an end date.

Animal Actions - Appointments
An Appointment can be scheduled for an Animal via the Create Appointment action on the Animal record.
Assessments - Health Check
Health Checks are configured as Assessments in AnimalOS and many different types of Health Check can be supported.
Animal Conditions
Animal Conditions can be assigned to an Animal record to track conditions that the Animal has and has had in the past.
Animal Indemnity Waivers
Animal Indemnity Waiver can be assigned to an Animal record to highlight any medical or behavioural concerns with the Animal.
