‘Foster' Location Records represent Households who have taken on the role as a Foster carer for Animals.
Animals who are in Foster Care can be assigned to the corresponding ‘Foster’ household. Foster households are typically a sub-location of a Parent Block ‘Site’, to clarify it’s geographic location.
Information provided on the ‘Foster’ Record includes Location Name, Parent Block, Block Capacity, Availability and Adjusted Capacity.
As Animals are moved to a ‘Foster’ household, Availability and Adjusted Capacity fields will update to reflect the overall Block occupancy.
To assign a Foster Record to a Foster Household, you can perform the following actions:
Click on Contact Record that wants to be a Foster
Click on the
Foster InfoTabCheck the box
Is a FosterGo the component
Foster Locationand clickNew. Fill out the details of the Foster Household and clickCreate.
