The ‘Offsite' Location record refers to an official facility that is not directly managed by the animal shelter.
The Offsite Location can be assigned to facilities or businesses that may receive animals transferred from the animal shelter. This includes partner organizations that specialize in pet supplies and services, such as those that advertise adoptions. Although animals are transferred to these offsite facilities, they remain under the care of the animal shelter and receive support from the partner organisation.
Information provided on the ‘Offsite’ Record includes Location Name, Parent Block, Block Capacity, Availability and Adjusted Capacity.
As Animals are moved to a ‘Offsite’ household, Availability and Adjusted Capacity fields will update to reflect the overall Block occupancy.
