Start Referral

Open

The Start Referral process is broken down into 3 steps.

1. Select the intake Record Type.

2. Complete the Referral specific data requirements for the intake type.

3. Complete the Animal specific data requirements for the intake type.

Record Type

The Record Type you select at the first step will define the Referral data requirements that need to be completed.

A field set will appear based on your selection which requires completion before going to the Next step.

Animal

The option is available to submit one or many Animals in a Referral. You have the option to:

• Search for existing Animals in the system using Animal ID or Microchip Number. This will pre-populate the Animal information.

Submitting and saving the Animal Referrals will commit the data to the database. The record can be found via the Referrals tab or when viewing the Animal record.
