Animal Intake

When an animal is being brought into an RSPCA Shelter a Referral record is created with related Intake Animal records.
Click on the Create Referral button on the Job Record. Select an RSPCA Shelter and add other relevant details.
The Referral Record will then be available on the Job Record. Click into the Referral Record by clicking the Referral Name (highlighted blue).
To add animals, click the Animal Intake Button in the top right of the Referral Record.
Add animals via the form that opens.
Select the Inspectorate Animals field set to open the fields needed to intake an inspectorate animal.
Use the New Animal and Clone buttons to add multiple animals if needed.
Set the Stage to On Hold and the Animal Status to the necessary value.
When the Animal has been added, you can access the Animal Record by:
Use the search feature at the top of the interface to search for the
AnimalbyNameorTag NumberorMicrochip Number.
Going back to the
Referralrecord that you created and clicking through theIntake Animalrecord to the Animal record.
Go to the
Animalstab and select the Protective Custody Animals view to see a filtered view of animals that the Inspectorate Team is responsible for.
From the
HomeTab in the Inspectorate app, go the Protective Custody Animals Dashboard to filter for animals that you are responsible for.
