Scheduling Jobs
Jobs
will be created in Animalis via the Contact Centre and be automatically queued in their Service Territory
based on address.
Metro Jobs will be queued in their Service Territories
(Alpha, Charlie, Delta and Foxtrot) and officers assigned to these Service Territories
can review the queue and assign jobs to themselves or to other officers in their team.
Regional Jobs are auto-scheduled to the officers assigned to the Service Territory
but officers should also monitor the unassigned jobs in their Service Territory
to make sure everything is being assigned.
Unassigned Jobs can be monitored from the Home Tab. Access the Job
by clicking on the Job Number
if you want to schedule the job to yourself or view the details.
From the Job
Record, go to the Feed Tab and click into the Candidates Feature. Review the details of Service Appointment
and click Get Candidates to search for suitable officers to attend the Job.
Review the
Service Appointment
that you're scheduling or create a newService Appointment
.Make sure the
Due Date
is set to a date in the future.
Many Service Appointments
can be scheduled per Job
which makes it important to notice the Service Appointment that you're scheduling when using the Get Candidates feature. A pinned Service Appointment
means it cannot be scheduled because the Service Appointment
has been completed.
Select a suitable officer to complete the Job
, select a suitable time and then click the Schedule to button (scroll down if you can't see the button).
The scheduling policy will default to Match Territory which will search for officers assigned to the
Service Territory
.Update the Scheduling Policy to Soft Service Territories to search for officers outside of the Job’s
Service Territory
.
When the Job
has been scheduled the Owner
of the Job
Record will be updated to the assigned officer.
You can then use the My Jobs views under the Jobs
Tab to see the Jobs
that you've been assigned to.
If you miss the scheduled time for this Job
then you can go through the same process to reschedule your Job. Just make sure you select the correct Service Appointment
when you use the Get Candidates option.
